I was recently featured in an NPR/Morning Edition piece regarding Diabetes Management.  As you may recall I have written about my Type 1 Diabetes previously.

I’m going to follow up this brief post with more on diabetes and eyecare. In the meantime, I wanted to share an interview I did recently for NPR on their Morning Edition show last week.  I was interviewed to discuss Diabetes Management using a Constant Glucose Meter system and the pitfalls of getting replacement supplies due to insurance frustrations of Prior Authorizations.  Since Diabetes can cause vision issues which include permanent blindness I felt it important to share here.
